Schmitty the Weather Dog

Schmitty the Weather Dog visited The Epiphany School on Thursday, January 26th with meteorologist Ron Trotta and children’s book author Elly McGuire bringing their Schmitty The Weather Dog Weather/Science Assembly to all our Lower School students. Our students listened while author Elly McGuire read her book Schmitty the Weather Dog and meteorologist Ron Trotta played the piano and sang fact filled “weather songs.” The high energy interactive presentation combined music and song to teach weather facts and vocabulary and was greatly enjoyed by all our students. Ask your children about the “weather words” they learned.
