Congratulations to the O’Dea’s
11/20/2017Congratulations and thank you to Ms. Helen and Ms. Peggy O’Dea the recipients of The Joe Falzon Spirit of Volunteerism Award. The award named for Joe Falzon, a man who selflessly gave his time and talents to The Epiphany School, was presented to the O’Dea’s by Mr. Jim Hayes & Mrs. Rose Falzon at the 5th Annual Epiphany School Hall of Fame celebration. Ms. Helen O’Dea has been volunteering at The Epiphany School since her retirement from J.P. Morgan in 1992. Ms. Peggy O’Dea retired from Dudley, Anderson, & Yutzy in 1993 and joined her sister volunteering at The Epiphany School.
The indefatigable O’Dea’s dedicate hours every week to the Lower School Library. Their dedication, organization, and energy make the library a warm, welcoming place for our students. Every week the students from Kindergarten – 3rd Grade visit the library and have a world of books to choose from. The O’Dea’s also bring their years of business experience to our school and assist with the bookkeeping. Their generosity does not stop at the school, the Epiphany Parish is also a lucky beneficiary of the O’Dea’s willingness to share their time and talents. The O’Dea’s kindness, energy, and spirit provide a shining example to our students.
Thank you Ms. Helen O’Dea and Ms. Peggy O’Dea from a very grateful school community.
Together we are The Epiphany School!
