Our WITS (Wellness in the Schools) Team held “potato labs” for our students. The students learned about the difference types of potatoes, their value, and the best uses for each potato.
Preparing a great potato dish doesn’t have to be difficult. The hardest part, in fact, is often making sure you buy the right type of potato: starchy, waxy, or all-purpose.
Our students then all made Chef Gisselle’s “No Mayo Potato Salad” and sampled it with their classmates.
