Stars for Service
01/24/2020Our Stars for Service project this month, Pennies for Patients, is under way!
This month The Epiphany School is working with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the world’s largest non-profit health organization dedicated to finding cures for blood cancers. By participating in Pennies for Patients, students will experience the commitment, creativity and curiosity that is at the heart of science. By participating, not only will your children learn about making an impact, but about leadership, teamwork, philanthropy and what “doing good” for others can mean.
By collecting donations and supporting research, LLS is able to find effective cancer therapies that, over the last 50 years, have increased the childhood leukemia survival rate from 3% to 90%. LLS also provides financial support to families affected by blood cancer to help combat the high cost of cancer care. Your participation is greatly appreciated!
Our Student Series Program began on 2/3/2020 and will end on 2/28/2020. Each student has received a collection box and parent letter to take home. Donations can be made in the collection box by coins, dollars and check. You may also donate online on our School page.
