American Stories

Our 8th graders are studying waves of immigration to the United States in their Social Studies class. Ms. Rennell and Ms. Reilly made history personal by having each student research their own family’s path to American citizenship. The students learned that in their own class there were families from every wave of immigration. Some students are first generation Americans while other families arrived centuries ago. Our 8th grade families come from 4 continents and too many countries to list, an American story.
