6th, 7th, & 8th Graders Perform
06/15/2022Ms. Capuano and Ms. Glover both ended the year with theater units in their ELA classes. With the help of Tieisha and Julian from Rising City Arts each grade staged a production. Our students had the opportunity to work with Rising City Arts, sponsored by the Epiphany School Foundation, to learn stage direction, blocking, and character development from professional working actors. Tiesha and Julian also helped the students disect the differences in the English language from Shakespearean, to Victorian, to Modern times.
6th graders put on Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet,
7th graders staged A Midsummer Night’s Dream,
and the 8th grade tackled Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest.
