In honor of Black History Month, Epiphany Second Grade artists were inspired by the American painter Jean Michel Basquiat. After reading the book “Radiant Child” with Ms. Sahr and learning about Basquiat’s raw gestural style and graffiti-like images, they created their own “Dinosaurs with Crowns”.
They were very proud of their amazing work!
