Holocaust Remembrance Day

The internationally recognized date for Holocaust Remembrance Day corresponds to the 27th day of Nisan on the Hebrew calendar. It marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

ELA teacher, Ms. Katie Glover, and and Art teacher, Ms. Christina Sahr,  collaborated on an ELA/Art project based on the book “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” which is about the writings, poetry and art created in a the Theresienstadt concentration camp.

(Paul Friedmann was murdered in Auschwitz in 1944.)
