3rd Grade Scientists

Ms. McLoughlin and Ms. Emma took our 3rd graders on a class trip to the New York Hall of Science for a hands on experience.

The Big Bubble Experiment encourages experimentation and discovery through joyful bubble play. Visitors can activate the science behind bubbles through blowing, stretching, popping, and looking closely. The exhibition includes ten exhibits, offering a variety of tools and methods for exploring bubble solution. Prompts can help you get started, but all experiences are open-ended. They invite you to use your bubble insights, ask questions, work with others, try out new ideas, and follow your own playful, sudsy path.

Connected Worlds immerses visitors in a fantastically animated world that explores how ecological systems relate and depend on one another to maintain balance and health. Visitors use their own actions, gestures, movements, and decisions to guide the flow of resources in this ever-changing environment. Visitors at NYSCI get to practice using the tools, skills and big ideas that will help shape the future of our world.
