Halloween Activities Changed

10/24/2019

Changes in the Halloween celebrations due to the rain.

Early Childhood students are welcome to wear their costumes to school (29th St.) where they will have the opportunity to show off their costumes during an Early Childhood Costume Fashion Show.  As originally planned, Toddler Twos and Nursery will not have class following the Halloween activity.   Those who choose not to attend due to the weather forecast and change from our originally planned activity will be considered an excused absence.  Pre-K students will have class following the Halloween fashion show.

Lower School students may wear their costumes to school (22nd St.) where there will be a small parade in the church, with goody bags from the officers of the 13th precinct.

Upper School Halloween activities will continue as planned.  Students are invited to dress down and wow us with their most creative, crazy hair.  After lunch, Upper School students will enjoy a special Halloween magic show from Madeline the Magician.

Because these events will be all be held in-house, parent chaperones are not required.  We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause our younger students.  Our teachers are planning Halloween activities that are sure to make it a spook-tacular day!

Sincerely,

Kate McHugh

Happy Halloween!
