Epiphany Chess Tournament

The Epiphany School is hosting a Chess Tournament on Sunday November 24, 2019, rounds begins at 1:00 p.m.  The tournament is open to all schools for chess players from K – 12, parent supervision is required.

Entry Fees
All players:

• $40.00 thru November 22, 2019
• $60.00 for November 23rd & 24th including on-site registration

Chess sets will be provided. Please bring your chess clock if you have one. 

Tournament Schedule:

• Onsite registrations: 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.
• Announcements and Player Check-In: 12:45 – 1:00 p.m.
  
  • Rounds begin at 1:00 p.m., all USCF rated.
  • K – 1, Rating: U600, 3 rounds, time control: game 25; 5TD
  • K – 5, Rating: U900, 4 rounds, time control: game 25; 5TD
  • K – 8, Rating: U1200, 3 rounds, time control: game 40; 5TD
  • K – 12, Rating: OPEN, 3 rounds, time control: game 40; 5TD

  All Sections are rated and US Chess Federation membership is mandatory – this membership fee is not included in the Tournament Registration fee but can be processed on-site and is paid to the US Chess Federation.
