Our 8th Graders went to see the Tony Award winning musical The Outsiders on Broadway. Ms. Edgerton, our 8th Grade ELA teacher, planned the trip last year before The Outsiders won the Tony!
S. E. Hinton’s novel The Outsiders is the first book the class reads in our 8th Grade ELA curriculum. The 8th Graders have all read the novel and discussed its structure and themes. After seeing the musical every 8th grader will write a theater review of the play.
