Lunar New Year
01/15/2025Our Kindergarteners celebrated the Lunar New Year.
Lunar New Year, also known as Spring Festival and often referred to as Chinese New Year, is the most important holiday of the year for over 1.5 billion people in the world. It originated in China and is also celebrated in several parts of Asia and among Asian diasporas globally.
2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake – a symbol of wisdom, intelligence, calmness, mysteriousness, transformation, and adaptability.
Our First Graders also learned about the holiday. They all made “dragon snakes” to celebrate!
