Performing Shakespeare

Rising City Arts is once again  here at Epiphany. Teaching Artist Mr. Rozzell, aka Mr. J.,  from Rising City Arts is partnering with our ELA teachers Ms. Capuano and Ms. Edgerton to guide our students on theater projects. The 6th Grade is producing Romeo and Juliet and our 8th Grade is staging Julius Caesar .

Our students become actors, set designers, costume designers, musicians, and prop handlers while they learn the basics of approaching and conquering poetic text, character, classical period and plot.  This residency’s goal is performance so students will have the opportunity to shine and show their strengths through drama and poetry. 

• 6th Grade Performance of Romeo and Juliet: June 9th at 9:00am
• 8th Grade Performance of Julius Caesar: June 9th at 10:15am

Performances will be in the Upper School Gym. Parents are invited to attend.
